Koh Kong Port
The Koh Kong port is near the border of Thailand and is only accessible to small ships weighing about 500 DWT. It is a provincial port and receives ships from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Facilities
- Paklong: Handles customs clearance and accommodates 300-ton boats (up to 500 tons at anchorage).
- Koh Kong Town: Used primarily for unloading and transshipment.
- Sre Ambel: Accommodates 120–130-ton boats. It is located near Road 4, which is 170 km away from Phnom Penh.
Accessibility
- No road access to rest of Cambodia (Road 43 only for motorcycles).
- Larger vessels require transshipment.
- Facilities limited and congested.
Kampot Multipurpose Port (KMP)
Port Information
KMP is capable to tow all vessel alongside the jetty in all seasons. Pilots and Tugboats are ready for operation to make sure all vessels berth safely and on time.
